The essence of effective service delivery is the maximisation of
resources. In a world where demand will always exceed supply, as
many partners as possible need to be worked with. To this end, the
association will continue to maintain and develop constructive and
meaningful partnerships with a range of agencies and funders. The
following information seeks to give a brief overview of partnerships
already in existence as well as identifying areas for potential
future developments. It is important to remember that partnerships
are not all about resources, they are also about sharing good practice,
knowledge and information.
The association has worked alongside the local authority on many
projects and initiatives over the past 3 years. The community services
department acknowledges the importance of the work undertaken by
the association.
The association also worked with Housing Hartlepool and the Adult
Education Department on a number of joint initiatives. It is the
associations wish to continue to develop new and innovative projects
and activities in partnership with the local authority.
The association currently runs one ERDF funded project which will
take us upto 2006.
The association will maintain a close working relationship and
form, develop and maintain partnerships with a wide range of voluntary
organisations working in Hartlepool, the North East and Nationally.
Partnerships envisaged and already engaged which include:- Hartlepool
Action Team for Jobs, PCT, Sports Development, Credit Union, Local
Schools,
Neighbourhood Watch, West View Advice & Resource Centre, Skillshare,
HVDA and OFCA.
Manor Residents Association. This list is not comprehensive and
we will work in partnership with all agencies and groups within
the voluntary sector for the good of the community.
The association place great importance upon the advice, support
and resources given by our funding partners, key supporters of the
associations work include Awards for All, Northern Rock Foundation,
Sherburn Charitable Trust, European Regional Development Fund, Hartlepool
Community Foundation and Hartlepool Community Chest.
OFFICE FACILITIES
Internet access, telephones, fax, shredding service, laminating,
photocopying, printing, c.v’s, Word processing, bookbinding
and digital photography. Also we offer the latest job vacancies
and job search.
In addition to the above, there are also adult education courses
and life long learning courses:- including guitar and keyboard lessons
every Saturday morning 9.30am – 12.30pm.
